SHAREUB ( pronounced: cherub ) is an amalgam of Sharon + Reuben.
We are siblings and our parents, as with all hopeful parents, probably had a notion we'd be angelic when combined. We didn't end up working together professionally but I'd like to think we're pretty good kids.
My brother likes doing research and I like doing business - SHAREUB Marketing is one of my businesses.
Beginnings
I started off doing small print runs for friends & small businesses while working full-time elsewhere. I continued doing this as a side job for extra income. A few years later, after setting up a restaurant with two friends, my life took an unexpected turn and I had to travel between Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong a fair bit.
Going Digital
All this travelling drove me to find ways to manage my businesses remotely. It was during this time that I started redeveloping SHAREUB Marketing to be more online-centric to fit my nomadic lifestyle. I also wanted to shape this into a straightforward, honest, fuss-free company that someone like myself would like to do business with.
The idea was but a glint in my mind's eye. You will never know until you try, so I invested time, energy, money and launched SHAREUB.com version 2.0.
Turns out it fit our busy clients' profile to a T - the convenience of making enquiries and placing orders online without having to leave their seats. If you are the sort that needs 3 face-to-face, hour-long meetings before deciding to place an order, then this is probably not for you.
Since launching v2.0, we have successfully completed & delivered many of our projects solely via the Internet and telephone.
That's how we came to be a fuss-free, fully-online source for event & branding merchandise.
